A Wedding Open Day at The Heath House, Tean, Staffordshire.
Sunday 29 March 2015 from 11am to 4pm
We invite you to come and fall in love with The Heath House as we host a Wedding Open Day.
The Heath House is a stunning Victorian house set in 127 acres of formal gardens and parkland. We can truly say we are able to offer the best of modern and traditional, as we have our House and grounds for Ceremonies and more formal occasions, and our superb Marquee which can hold 200 people for that all-important party in the evening!
On the day, we will be having timed bridal fashion shows displaying the very best couture set against the beautiful interiors of the House. Our suppliers will be offering interactive workshops, including flower arranging and Hair & Make-up, there will be advice menu planning with Ridgways, our in-house caterers, and the opportunity for discounts to those who book on the day!
Our Marquee give you the opportunity to envisage a marquee wedding setting, complete with dressed tables, floral arrangements and bar area and our Wedding Organisers will be on hand to with impartial advice and information sessions aimed at giving you a stress-free and above all, enjoyable, planning process.
The formal gardens and parkland will be open for you to wander through and we invite you to visit our Orangery, where you can imagine having your photograph taken on your special day.
We look forward to seeing you!
“Simplex Munditiis” or ‘Elegance in Simplicity’
We would like to welcome you to our historic family home of which we are very proud. Commissioned in 1836 and completed in 1840, this is the third house to have been built on the present site and has been the Philips’ family home for seven generations.
Set amidst rolling parkland and exquisite formal gardens, the Heath House provides a magical country house venue to host a wide variety of events from exclusive hire weddings and historical tours to corporate functions and private parties. It is ideally located in Staffordshire with great transport links to Birmingham and Manchester, and is only an hour half from London by train. We even have space to land helicopters!
The house and grounds can also be hired as a film, TV and photo-shoot location. Productions include The Hound of the Baskervilles, Agatha Christie’s They do it with Mirrors, In a Land of Plenty and Channel 4’s Country House Rescue.
The heritage of the House is something we feel very strongly about, as it is one of the few remaining houses in the country which is still owned and lived in by the family that built it and in which the interior remains largely unchanged. We are embarking on an exciting journey to rebuild the House and grounds into a fully-functioning estate once more.
We have ambitious plans to turn our Walled Garden into a supplier of food for our events, the gardens to supply our flowers and our Stable Yard to be developed into an area for additional accommodation, local businesses and community projects.
We would like our home to become your home for your special event, filled with warmth, laughter and friendship and we look forward to sharing it with you.
